Hey guys, I have chosen Ranger and I'm post-Golem ready to fight the cultist but other than the wings and boots I have on in the photo I can't decide what else to put in my accessory slots. I have a chest open on screen with some ideas of items I already own but any help regarding which to pick or any other advice (weapons, summons etc) would be great. thanks all.

Looks great, but grind golem a bit more for the sunstone. It gets combined with the moon stone and that gets combined with the moon shell. Super great accessory.

I'd probably go with wings, master ninja gear, celestial shell, and stalkers quiver (only if using arrow types that get the velocity boost from it, if not use recon scope). For the fifth slot you can keep the boots if you want, but at this point in the game you are mostly flying and not running so you can replace them for something else (I'd go with the sniper/recon scope). As for weapons, tsunami is by far the best weapon you have, so I'd use that.

are there any other weapons you would recommend as I'm struggling with the cultist right now with that loadout

Maybe try venom arrows instead of holy, since the stars from holy arrows can hit the wrong cultist by accident (summoning the dragon). You might want something that pierces to deal with the phantasmal dragon if happen to summon it, so maybe get a snowman cannon or stake launcher. Of course, you won't need these if you just avoid summoning the dragon.
Buff potions are also very useful if you aren't already using them. Build a plant garden (usually with planter boxes) and then you can make lots of ironskin, regeneration, and archery potions. There are other good potions (like lifeforce and endurance), but those take a bit more effort to obtain (usually fishing). Also, put campfires and heart lanterns in your boss arena (if you haven't already) for the regen buff.

I’m currently using venom arrows with my tsunami as well as buff potions and a fully set up arena but still having difficulties. This is the furthest I’ve got in the game though so I haven’t fought the cultist more than 5 times and lost every time

Endless Quiver/Musket Pouch isn’t an accessory but always good for back up if ammo potentially runs out. You don’t even have to put it in an ammo slot too, just your inventory

if ur mixing classes with melee and ranger use a mechanical glove

But the mechanical glove isn’t even multi-class anymore since desktop update version 1.2.3 as it is now a melee-oriented accessory instead.

I used it once in a ranger/melee hybrid and it helped a good amount

You should always use a ranger emblem as ranger. 15% bonus damage is ridiculous. This is coming from a veteran ranger player, btw.
Also I recommend that you use a destroyer emblem as well.
A stalker's quiver is the choice for archers, and a recon scope for gunslingers.

recon scope boosts ALL ranged damage, not just guns (only the rifle scope function is gun exclusive). For this reason, every ranger build should use it (if they have room). imo, priority for damage increasing accessories is: 1. celestial shell (damage comparable to an avenger emblem + defence and life regen) 2. any quiver (ONLY if using arrows with low velocity, mainly holy) 3. sniper AND recon scope (they stack) 4. destroyer emblem 5. ranger emblem 6. avenger emblem 7. putrid scent/eye of the golem/a 2nd (or 3rd) quiver
tbf you usually are going to be using 2-4 damage accessories, depending on number of accessory slots and how many mobility and defensive accessories you are using, but I listed them all for completion's sake (and so it's not just specific for endgame)
